What are the "many functions" a car battery has? It powers the starter to get the engine going. From that point on, the alternator does all the work.

I do believe that is quite a bit more than moving an inch long second and minute hand.

You paying high dollar for an Invicta not worth it... is like paying $90k for a Gt350...

...Oh... wait

But I have the money to spend on it and not bust the bank, so...

For you watch snobs like me...

I just had a big closing at work, made some investments, put some away, and am thinking about buying another watch. I own so many dailies. My submariner is my only serious business watch.

Narrowed it down to the following:
Which would y'all pick?

Breitling Navitimer or the Rolex Yachmaster. Which would you pick? Both not far off one another in price.

Navitimer would be my pick. I think it is such a beautifully made piece.

Thank you, I love them both! Nice pickup on your Tag too, looks super unique. What model is that?

Thank you, pretty happy with the deal! I had those wheels sitting in the garage for several years and had no need for them anymore. Already had a set on my 99 f-boat.

Here they are on my buds GS. FWIW I have told him to drop that car some more.

So I picked up my first non-Fossil watch yesterday evening! Really liking it so far! This isn't one of the more expensive offerings, but it's really nice nonetheless.
