I haven't worn a watch for as long as I could remember, but I need to start dressing more for my age and up my game a little bit. I really like watches but have stayed away because I know I may like them too much.

Over the years I have grown fond of mechanical and automatic watches, preferably with some skeleton showing on the front face. For the moment I am going to probably pick up a Stuhrling. There are a few that look really nice for the price, and they seem to be very friendly with their returns if I run into any issues. They seem like a good starter watch.

Eventually though, I would like to get a nice watch (no Chinese/Japanese movements and such) as a present to myself. Below I have some things I have come across that I really like. I think my preference to size would be 14mm max case thickness, and probably 44mm max width.

Well, well, well. This is one of my other hobbies. I have a modest collection. Here is my vintage Festina "Lance Armstrong" for starters. Follow me on instagram if you guys like: the_neeraj_sharma

In before treynor owns this thread with his hublot or tourbillion

I was big in to watches, but have recently liquidated due to the fact I have a daughter on the way. I had several Hamiltons, citizens and seikos. At this point I have 2 fossil bullheads, some fossil delrays and 3 luminox and a wenger. All my expensive stuff is gone

I barely wear a watch anymore. I have a couple of Citizens that I enjoy. I just can't bring myself to spend upwards of $700 on a watch. I have a few G-Shocks that I wear whenever I'm doing something active.

Doesn't your guys' cellphone have a clock on it?

Oh boy, this was a big hobby money pit for me. I have "lightened" the collection considerably over the past 2 years!
I recently acquired this Hublot "Big Bang Ice Bang" Chrono in ceramic/titanium/tungsten, which is one of the most comfortable time pieces I own.
Pure art via exhibition back.
