gay, when i had a 2v i could take them off easily.
Yea but I have 2.5 times more horse power and I'm 3 seconds better than you in the quarter mile
huh? I dont have a 2v...
and you have like 700hp and run 11's? FAIL
fobra(WTF is that anyways)
It says u have a 2000 fobra(WTF is that anyways) with 251hp and 288tq
My car made 569rwhp and 575rwtq without nitrous. I also went 11's on street tires sucker.
251/288 was my 2v dyno (just throttle body and midpipe)
and ok sucker? yeah man your car is sooo fast its rediculous..
fobra = fake cobra.
read my sig.
just a suggestion so you dont have to get under the dash, but you can loosen the driver motor mount and lower the engine with a jack and 2x4. saves alot of time and headache. I have done it this way and then seen a buddy do it the quick way and was amazed on how much quicker it was. Only need to lower a 1/4 inch or so. OP great write up and pic though
yeah from what i remember it was almost a stright pull out once i had pulled the master and booster...
there is like 2 inches or so of room under the master but you still have to get over all the caps...
I think next time they come off the motor will just be pulled out for cams hahah heard its easier to drop the subframe to do them haha
if your doing cams you mine as well drop the motor and pull the heads. update the springs with better ones and also get the guides replaced so you take away the potential for the head tick issue that plagues some cobra owners.
I'm trying to picture it but cant really see how that would help much. Does it put the motor on an easier angle to get the lower bolts off and slip the valve cover out?
