Yup been raining for over a week here. Soaking wet at work right now and my shift isn't half over.

Thunderstorms just now rolling through central CT. Forecast is for periods of very heavy rain today. I've got to make a run to Home Depot to order a front storm door, so I'd best do it now before the heavens open. LOL.

Lightning storms wreaked havoc last night, with the town hall in neighboring Prospect, CT getting a direct hit. Knocked out their electrical systems, computer server, elevator and more. My daughter said the sound of the lightening hit was deafening. I can imagine. I'm about 4 miles away and didn't hear it.
Storms have cleared, making for a nice, sunny Friday. 
But, rain returns tonight and will continue through Sunday.

Seattle's air quality is the worst in the world right now. This is the worst I have ever seen it but the crazy thing is that in my whole life this has not been an issue I can ever remember except for the last couple years. Everything looks really weird and dreary when it is this smoky. The photo I took is not a filter, that's how it looks.

That’s how it was in some parts of Southern California the past few weeks. That’s all smoke from the fires
When we had the wildfires in 2011, worst in Texas history, it was unreal how smokey it got in the Houston area. The fires were mostly in central|east Texas.

Thunderstorm last night was really throwing down the cloud to ground lightning! Flickering the power and loud as all get out!

Cold front comin' in. Supposed to start raining any minute and not stop until Friday. It's like a ****in' hurricane.

5 to 8 inches of rain in north Iowa the last 36 hrs. Round 2 about to start.
Moving quick
I'm supposed to get hit in about 15 minutes. Storm is moving at 70 mph. Got a few inches of rain already just today.
