I noticed Blackedout posted this combo, then in the sig it says 12.07 at 115 MPH. I hope those ET's were with a different motor LOL. Not picking on him, I was just really impressed with that combo til I saw the ET's lol.

Yeah, yeah, I've heard this 10 sec pass from more than one person before;-).
D said it's gonna run 10's on pump gas, so I think I might just take it to the track and not let anybody know I'm going so I won't have the pressure on me:-D.

Same motor just had the un-ported eaton with those times on street tires... Have only done a couple shakedown runs.... all the safety stuff is in and time to go back... I'll be sure to up-date my ET's...

Stock '04 cobra long block
'01 intake cams swapped in instead of the '04 cobra intake cams
Ported '01 intake
Stock logs, bassani 2 1/2 cb & Bassani 2 1/2 x pipe
T56
4.30 rear gear
Procharger D1 sc with 3.2 riechard pulley
Stock 01 Cobra crank pulley
meizre ewp
8 rib conversion with thumper tensioner
23 pounds of boost
big ic which looks like a ebay cooler ( I don't know the brand)
green belt
Procharger Big Red Enclosed Race Valve & running it recirculating

Numbers hopefully soon after breaking in the new clutch, maybe another week or so.

Previous number was 552rwhp with 14 degrees timing, 6rib slipping, about 15 pounds, & spinning on the dyno. I had the 275 nittos on back & everytime around 5 grand the car would start to spin. Think the rollers were a little worn cause it def aint like my car was making enough to be doing all that:lol1:

Anybody have any guess what the car will make now? One guy says 700 which I think is very high, Im guessing 600. Oh yeah, I have 315 mickeys on the back now so that spinning should'nt be a issue now. I also picked up 6 pounds of boost with the green belt/8rib/thumper combo.

Thats awesome! Just out of curiosity, what size belt are you using? Where did you get the green belt? I can't seem to find them anywhere. Also, how do you like the electric water pump? Do you think it helped with gas mileage and freed up any power? Do you have it wired so you can run the pump and the radiator fan when the engine is off? I guess to see any benefits to that, you'd have to get a lower temp thermostat or remove it entirely.

I'll have to look to see what size belt is on it. I got the green belt at napa, its a gates green fleet runner belt. The ewp has been on the car since before the blower and it should have freed up some pwr but I never dynoed with it to see after it was put on. I have it wired up on a key on source , and I have never checked on the gas mileage with it.

Im not really impressed with you power, seems like the 03-04 cobra set up really kills the power on these cars!

I went from that exact Intercooler to a TR12 treadstone and seen 5lbs of boost increase you are way over the flow capabilities of that Intercooler.

How do you like the meth injection? Did you have to get it tuned immediately after it was installed, or did it add power out of the box? What kind do you have? If you have the snow performance kit with the digital controller, what does it do?

I'm about at the limit with my fuel system, MAF, 6-rib belt routing, and short block to be able to safely make any more power than I already am. I can't make any more serious increases in power without spending big bucks on supporting mods, which would require me to take it to an entirely different level.

Meth Injection the one mod I've seen that increases power on boosted motors while at the same time reducing the likelihood of detonation. Given my situation, I can't really think of any other modification that'll give me a decent increase in power given the amount of money spent without risking a meltdown.

I'm trying to decide which Meth Injection kit is right for my application. After doing a little searching, there's a huge variety of different kits.

From what I understand, a dyno tune should be utilized to maximize the benefits of meth injection by running more aggressive timing, and A/F ratios. But even without a custom dyno tune, there are still impressive gains to be had with a meth kit, holding all else constant. Please correct me if I'm wrong. I mean, even if it doesn't add any power straight out of the box, it can't do any damage without a custom tune right? Much the same way an ice cold intercooler or higher octane gas won't cause any damage?

Like that combo! I'm not familiar enough with the '03-'04 compression ratio so is your compression higher or lower. Curious why you did'nt spin it to 6800 because I thought the 96-98 cams made power higher or more similar to my '01.

^^^ I depends on where there are advanced or retarded at to determine where the powerlevel is going to stop :)

The 03-04 is 8.5:1, but I didn't spin it higher cause the stock valve springs aren't holding the boost! Chance which just posted is having the same problems. We kinda compete lol

Maybe we have just gotten lucky with mine but we are not having any valve spring issues with mine and I've hit 3 pounds higher than you. My friend that tunes the car likes the e85 route as I see you've gone. I was'nt thinking earlier, I shift at 6800 at the track so I was having a duh moment about asking you that. Think from memory mine was spun to 6500.
