It looks like Ford has figured out that if you really want a Modular ford engine to perform, you add compression, displacment and cams. The 2011 5.0 Ford 4 valve V8 has 11:1 compression, and variable valve timing.
Us new edge Cobra guys will need 11:1 pistons, and aftermarket cams just to keep up with the 400+ HP 2011 mustangs.
