Was bored last night and forgot I had 10lbs of wings. So soaked them In a chili/habanero/lime brine overnight. Now 2.5 hours at 275 and i think we will be ready

I got asked to join a grilling team( they were pros, im very amateurish) and this is the bone in ribeye from snake river farm my friend did. Was amazing and ridiculously expensive lol. He won with it too

He won't tell me what his recipe was for the sauce(spent a while cooking that too), but seasoning was big poppa's double secret steak rub I think. Smoked on the salt block for probably 90 min, then seared. My team mates were very secretive lol. I was basically just a sous chef

Edit- oh yeah and basted before and while smoking butcher's BBQ oil.

Your idea of grilling is simple, like mine. Burgers (and hot dogs)! LOL. I like lean burgers cooked medium rare with crushed pepper to season, topped with a nice thick slice of garden tomato, Vidalia onion and lettuce. Yum! We're going to do some simple grilling when we get home from the shore this afternoon. Yum!
