  • C6Z
  • GT500
  • C7
  • Hellcat (I think they are getting close to $40k)
  • M3
  • 996 turbo
  • lots of other choices...

I'm biased, but the C6Z is a stupid fun toy.

3100lb car with that kind of power is a lot of fun. Especially a full bolt-on H/C/I car! My buddies car is a little over 600 RWHP and driving that car at WOT was a religious experience for me.

Yes sir! Mine is/was (sold it earlier this year) a h/c/i setup, doesn't quite make 600rwhp, but it moves out pretty well. I know there are way faster setups out there, but the C6Z really is a great all-around package.

GT500 and hellcat are not a sports cars. LOL

Meh, maybe so, maybe not.

There is no real comparison, so much fun driving a C6Z. My buddies car had a very extreme setup. The biggest cam you could get from LG and heads done by local shop. I personally wouldn't have driven around on that stick, way too violent on the valvetrain. He did hit slightly north of 600, but he traded some drivability and reliability to do it. In fact this cam ate a lifter last year, wiped out bearings and he now has a tall deck 468.

I always had a secret desire for a Porsche 928S/GTS.
Those suckers have a mean V8 growl, and they are just plain cool.

'65-66 Mustang coupe with Street-Or-Track coil overs all around, 3-link rear, big brakes, rack and pinion, 17" wheels, beefy T5 (Astro) behind a stout stroked small block, and sticky tires.

That might be fun. :)

Import an early 90's GT-R
Well below your price mark, Right hand drive, fairly rare here in the US, lots of attention/admiration, potential for big HP, no problem selling it for what you paid if not more when you're ready to move on.
My GT-R

x10!

R32 or R33 will be my next toy without a doubt.

Forgot to mention there is nothing quite like the sound of a large single turbo straight six at 7k rpm. OMG. Love love love.

If I had the cash laying around I would get a 3rd gen rx7 with a 20b in it. 500-600 hp on low boost and much more reliable than the 2 rotor. The market value on them has risen 100% in the last few years and I regret selling mine.

^^ Achilles heel has always been that soft, fragile 13b. I dont know much about the 20b but if is as improved as you say it is, i agree that would be one FUN sumbitch.
