a great Efficient brake kit if still around is the brakeman 13” system. He had some great detailed threads. I believe cobrabob or the gentleman from ftbr had done that kit but I cannot remember.

I’m probably going to do the Kenny brown pro4R kit next year over the winter. It’s a spendy kit but it’s basically all the braking you could ever need. I’d like to send them my car and fit those as well as template and possibly shoehorn their preliminary SLA 99-04 prototype on. It’d be spendy because it’s spindles and all but I think it’d be nuts for extra front end feel/grip. I have some zero interest car care one cards so it’s just money in money out.

Well last week she got picked up to get the car back together . Finished everything I could now it’s going to be in good hands to get the rest of the cg fab kit together. Should have dyno and some pics to add soon .

little late to the party but coming from a single turbo 6spd to twin 62/65s if youre a stick car go twins

if youre going single make sure to have an auto behind it as its far more enjoyable to drive

If you only wanted to run pump and make 7-750 in a stick car would you say the same? Or would a properly sized single work just the same?

no. in my opinion even single at the power level with a standard would be unenjoyable my 76/75 was matched to my motor build and still did not like it. switched to twins with turbos matched and i love it now especially with boost control through the holley makes it far more enjoyable to drive.

i just got my single turbo gt4202r/built6r80 back and it is a blast to drive aswell and i have not gotten into boost control yet.

I would vote single over twin for sure, even with a stick car. Twins are more expensive, and harder to plumb everyhing.

The problem I see is most people tend to oversize their turbo and not build their kit correctly. 76/75 with a stick is laggy. A 4.6l engine doesn't need 76+mm of compressor to make 750hp. New age turbo tech has come a long way, and a properly sized billet ball bearing 70-72mm will make that power and more, and spool very quickly. Also needs to have a quality intercooler with low pressure drop, and the cold side should be short as possible, 3" tubing. Downpipe should be 3.5" minimum, bumper exit or a cutout with full exhaust.

I have a big single, th[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] with a gear vendor overdrive and Holley dominator running e[emoji[emoji6]][emoji6]. For me not having any pump e[emoji[emoji6]][emoji6] is an issue because i want to drive my car more. I’m starting to plan a coyote swap with twin turbos and keeping the th[emoji[emoji6][emoji6]][emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] and going back to [emoji[emoji6][emoji6]] pump gas so I can use the car more

Any updates?
Yes ran into problems with the shop building the car … they got way in over there heads and could not complete it … will be getting rid of the cg fab single kit and going with hellions twin kit … car is over at true street Motorsports where they know what there doing… CG fab hot and cold side with forward facing headers will be listed soon … will give a great deal to whoever wants to build a nice single kit and can do fabrication.

Yes sir switching to hellions twin kit that’s what Clint from true street told me to go with … waiting for him to get back to me to pic the turbos I want

I have ms3 in the car but true street is wanting to swap back to the stock computer with a eboost 2 controller … they haven’t had good luck with the ms3 and haven’t used it much and guarantee there work only through ways they have built these cars for years . Sucks cause I know the ms3 is far superior to the stock computer but I just want this car back and done … even having to go through litigation with the old shop who charged me a bunch of money for things not completed and things not done correctly .

That's odd that they'd rather stick with the stock ECU. But I get that there's a level of comfort sticking with what you know. Are they familiar with Holley at all? I'd just have a hard time going back to a stock ECU with everything out there. Will the eboost work with the stock ECU to change the fueling depending on boost and fuel type?

I'd at least put the MS3 on the shelf for future use.

They said they can tune it with the ms3 they just want to guarantee their work and don’t want to tune it and have it run like garbage . HPP said they could tune it and did a poor job . At Clint was up front and said they don’t have a lot of run time with the software .

Far as I was told the e boost worked well with the stock ECU … will definitely be a question I ask.

It's crazy how difficult it is to find a good shop these days.

Good luck on the build. Looking forward to some videos of the car once it's done.

I absolutely would not put the stock PCM back in the car. Have them build the car and use someone else to tune it. That is a HUGE mistake and terrible advice. I have a guy who can tune MS3 no problem, he's amazing.

What is the big difference between ms3 and the stock computer. Ms3 came in my car when I bought and just been told it’s better than the stock computer.

It's an aftermarket computer. It does a way better job controlling fueling, you can build safeties into it, you can run any size injector with no problem and you can set up traction control. There are many other things. The advice to put a stock computer back in is totally irresponsible and misguided. It sounds like their tuner is not comfortable with tuning MS3, which is fine for them to admit that, but that just means you need to hire someone else to handle the tuning part and they just focus on the build. My guy can tune MS3 no problem and he's brilliant and highly skilled at what he does and can easily be done remotely.

Who’s your guy that does it remote? Do you have traction control set up on yours? Works with factory gauges too correct?
