Line lock most likely.
It's actually for the extra 100 hp Just in case. I lost 1k once on a money race by less than a bumper. If only that button had been there then....

Got mine from Speeddawg... awesome company. I DID have to wait almost a month for mine because of the color combo/options I ordered with it, but it was worth it. After I installed it, the shift lever showed, so I ordered their narrow boot retainer(the black thing under the knob).. works well. And I will be using the button for a line lock.. wire just hanging there for now until I get the line lock installed.

i must be the only person who hates the "pool ball" style shifter knobs....
Cue ball, stock knob or dildo. That seems to be the only options :shrug:

Need to fabricate a piece for the boot but I love this shift knob.
Just put this Rally 5.0 knob on. It makes the interior look bad ass. It also has a better feel when shifting compared to stock. MGW shifter is next.

If you call mgw they will sell you the piece that sits underneath the handle making it flush.

Hmm wonder how much it is. Their composite is like twice the price I paid for this one.
Ask them if you can buy the filler part for the shift boot I'm sure they'd sell you one
Is that the UPR shift knob? I want one but was worried about the boot, please keep us updated if mgw will make a boot retainer.
