Rpms on the launch control

Launch control rpm settings on 2013 Shelby how can you get it to go below 3000 rpm my only goes from 3000 to 4500 I have seen videos of some going from 2500 to 5200 and people talking about it can anyone help me please

mine is 2500-5200. maybe you are doing something wrong? also coupe or vert?

Mine is also 2500-5200. Have you tried it when the car was up to operating temp? Maybe there's some sort of temp limit? Just throwing it out there.

Yep I have tried that to it just say 3000 to 4500 I ask my dealer and they don't have a clue about it at all

Does the LC have to be on. I haven't even messed with mine yet.

I just go to the launch control setting and it gives me the 2500-5200 range.

Just for grins, does your car have the SVTPP option? Just wondering if it may have something to do with adjustable suspension? My car does have SVTPP and am wondering what the others that have it what their limits are?

Has anyone launched it at 5200? Seems like it would be kinda hard on the drivetrain haha.

I launched at 5K, my best launch thus far was at 4800 with DR's.

I just checked mine today and it also goes from 2500-5200. Shift light is from 1500-7000.

Just took delivery of my 13. My launch contol is also 3 to 45. Probably a running change from Ford, to reduce breakage.

That's odd that it's different between cars. I would think that 2500 would be about right on the street with street tires. Not sure why they would not start there on all of them.

Mine is 2500-5200. If you look at old news articles though, announcing the tracking control, you'll see it advertised as 3000-4500.

So maybe that was what they were initially going to do, and some are set with that while some are set the other way?
