Heck ya the TVS makes more tq, I had the whipple and my buddy has the Roush, with the same amount of boost (10) I was making right around 624 (I have headers) and 500 flat torque while my buddies roush is making 617 RWHP (no headers) and 557 torque. Huge difference in torque.

Long tubes will lower your torque down low though...probably not that much torque but you know what I mean.

How do you get the roush's up to 600 rwhp? Debating between it and the Whipple 2.3L
Roush TVS
long tubes/no cats
BMR sway bar relocation brackets, rear upper and lower adjustable control arms and upper mount.
Weld RTS wheels and racing rubber
AED tune
Auto trans stock 3.15 gears
Stock Roush air box

What's the life span of the stock motor with the Roush TVS? I do plan on doing forged internals first.

The delivered roush cal is around 450-480rwhp, the motor passed a ford durability test at this level on the roush engine dyno, that is why they are able to warranty it.

600rwhp for your average street enthusiast seems pretty safe on good pump gas.

we ran 9s with our car at 12psi/675rwhp and the pistons were spotless when we took the heads off
