Looks good right now this crap was covering a good part of the state and now its in the gulf and up towards the panhandle but somebody needs to make a call asap!!!
I've been in contact with the track manager, we've decided to move the event to next Saturday Nov 29th. They had to cancel today's event last minute due to it raining all day. We're very sorry any negative effects this may have on anyone. At this point next weekend looks to be much cooler weather.
I sure hope not I've really been looking fwdto this event. This just means we can eat leftovers at the track!! Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving with their families and be safe!!!!

Our EB is currently apart getting a clutch and driveshaft (Mcleod has our stock clutch/flywheel for R&D) so we wont be able to attend.
Push this back a few weeks and I think you would get a bigger turnout and we would be able to attend.

JJ, we'll have one next year, and there will be a rain contingency with the track that doesn't put anybody out
For anyone else considering coming to the orlando area this Saturday for the re-scheduled event, make it a trip. The Turkey Run at the Daytona Speedway is only ~1hr from the track and runs all day Thursday (yes, a car, show, on Thanksgiving) through Sunday. That is something to be thankful for. Every kind of car you could imagine, usually about 5000, tons of vendors, all kinds of food and drink, it is a unique experience.
Power by the hour and several other shops will be repping at the track this Saturday.

Can't seem to find the info on what time this event will be taking place.. looked at the osw site and it doesn't have anything on the schedule for sat the 29th.. sorry if I am missing the info.. just want to come out and check it out
Last I heard gates open at 9am track goes hot at 10am and 12:30 eliminations start.

Sai Li, FTW. Nick Bolli had the fastest pass of the day with a 9.40 @ 138 I think and Sai went 9.6 @ 144. The weather couldn't have been any better. I only wish some more cars could have come. I guess between rescheduling and the Turkey Rod Run we lost some people.

I would have loved to be there but Daytona was the place to be on this weekend. Sorry I had to miss your event.
SVTP Member 04compgt, the winner of the SVTP Coyote shootout, is on his way to pick up this beautiful K-Member from us today.
Randy Christian, another SVTP Coyote Shootout participant, came Monday to pick up a K-Member as well as a ton of the other components to complete his full BMR array of parts. He used the gift cert. that we raffled out.
This event was great, and the amount of prizes were amazing. I encourage anyone, and everyone that can make it to the next one - to come on out. It is heads up, but everyone there has the ability to make many track passes, and win multiple items that any gearhead would want.
