This first part is so true.The state doesn’t have the infrastructure to support the influx of residents and traffic is enough to make you want to move.

[/bcolor]Phoenix Metro: Peoria, Surprise, Anthem, Cave Creek, Carefree, North Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, Fountain Hills. Absolutely beautiful country out here. Lake Pleasant to the NW of the metro area and Salt River to the east.[/bcolor]
[bcolor=transparent][/bcolor]
[bcolor=transparent]Just stay out of SW Phoenix, South Glendale, Tolleson, parts Goodyear and Avondale, most of Mesa, Guadalupe, Maryvale, and DEFINITELY DONT go to Apache Junction.[/bcolor]
[bcolor=transparent][/bcolor]
[bcolor=transparent]Tucson (and metro): Oro Valley, Winterhaven, Catalina Foothills, West Tucson in the foothills.[/bcolor]

[bcolor=transparent]South of Tucson and the I-10 its Cowboy country (illegals). North of I-10 and up is ok. No issues in Phoenix.
Florida is the rental car state of the US. A lot of people are here “temporarily” and treat each other accordingly.
Summer feels like climbing into a clothes dryer when it’s halfway done.

Love bugs.
It rains almost every afternoon from May - October.
I’d move but my wife’s family is here.
Northern Phoenix area. Have Lake Seguaro and a few others just past Fountain Hills outside of Phoenix. One thing to consider is that there are reptiles in the desert. Most people don't encounter them but there has been the occasional rattle snake or scorpion that has come up to people's front or back doors. My fiance loves AZ and would love to live there. I like it, but the reptile thing just freaks me out. I have a buddy who has lived in Phoenix for 4 years. He encountered a rattke snake once when hiking and occasionally there are scorpions in the alley behind his house. If you're good about keeping doors shut when you go in and out of the house then there shouldn't be an issue of a creepy crawly getting in.
The one upside is that you guys dont have emissions or inspections. For a car guy that alone could be worth the hassle of dealing with the rest of Florida's.... quirks.Florida is the rental car state of the US. A lot of people are here “temporarily” and treat each other accordingly.

Lake Havasu is wonderful as is the whole Colorado River Valley. And when its spring break, OP can see loottssss of college tits out on the water.[bcolor=transparent][/bcolor]

[bcolor=transparent]Surprised there is no mention of Lake Havasu City. My in-laws winter there and we've visited the last 3 winters, all in February. There are a lot of old people but it's a safe city with plenty to do. [/bcolor]
Consider the Georgia coast but no hills here. GA is situated on East coast where hurricanes hard to hit. Coast of living good and gated communities offer security. I'm in Savannah...Retired prosecutor...

Certainly a good choice. I love Savannah and Taibi island. My good friends live in Richmond Hill Georgia just south of Savannah near the Ford plantation and have been there for over 20 years. They love Georgia.
While I love Arizona and the Phoenix/Scottsdale area since I have many friends living out there already and I have been out there many times the need to live within 10 minutes of the ocean is most important to me. Secondly would be the snow and lack of it. I can remember the great times I had out there in Az. especially at the Great Alaskan Bush company if anybody knows what I am talking about. I doubt its quite as good as when I used to go there years ago.
My girlfriend and I want to get a couple hundred bucks together to take her dad there for a night. Lol, that or a brothel in NV.While I love Arizona and the Phoenix/Scottsdale area since I have many friends living out there already and I have been out there many times the need to live within 10 minutes of the ocean is most important to me. So my requirements are no cold weather at all. A red state. And absolutely can not be landlocked.
I’m used to people treating each other like shit. I’m from Mass.
I’m used to basically the worst traffic in the US so Florida would be an improvement.
In the summer I’d probably head up to New England and stay up there for a few months.
I’m open to any suggestions on what would fit my needs more than Florida.
