What size tire are you guys running on the back of your daily driver cobra?

For those of you running 315's on the back, have you had any troubles with the dealership denying warranty claims.

I recently installed saleen's 18 with 315's in the back. From reading other member's thread..dealers can deny any warantee claim for if the car has any types of modification. It depends which dealer you bring the car to. If you do worry about it, just return everything back to stock.

I've got 295/35/18 on there now. Hope the price of 315s come down a little my next time around.

I went with the 285/40/17 GS d3's on my 10.5 chromies. I am 100 percent happy with them. They look great from the rear tucked in the wheel wells. MUCH wider then the stockers. They grab great and in wet weather they can't be beat. I got the 10.5 cause I planed on running the 315 D3's but chickened out cause I didn't want to run spacers.

That's what I originally did...I had 285-40-17s on 10.5" wheels. They looked a little too small for a 10.5" wheel, so I went with 315s. I wasn't comfortable with spacers at first, but I did my homework and feel completely comfortable with my current setup...

AFS 10.5" wheels
Sumitomo 315-35-17s
7/32 hubcentric "Undy" spacers
AFS extended reach lugnuts
Shaved IRS bolt heads

As far as warranty goes, I personally would not take my car to the dealer with these wheels/tires...just to be safe. I'll put my stockers back on for that. I don't even want to take a chance. I also wouldn't even think about going to the dealer with any drag radial. Heck, I'm so paranoid I wouldn't go to the dealer with worn out rear tires!! :( Don't laugh...people have been denied warranty for that.

By the way, here's a diagram you might be interested in if you want to see how different tires look on different size wheels...

Does anyone here run 285/40/17's on the front. I was thinking about putting a set of Nittos all the way around.

I saw a thread on here with a silver cobra that had 335's on it. They looked pretty sick and I was just wondering what the section width would be compared to the others in the chart?

It amazes me how few Cobra owners have the original size tires on their Cobras. When I created this poll I never guessed it would have turned out this way.

Anyone running 315/35/17 Nitto DR's on stock 17x9 wheels? I know the Nitto's run a bit narrower than other 315's, but do they hang over too much?
