Well I'm alive and still kicking. After I sold my car I went through one of the nastiest divorces. Because she didn't work I was ordered to pay 2469.00 a month child support and alimony. I lost everything,my 2012 jeep got repoed I was living in a garage at my sister house. After all the garnishments I was sitting at a nice 800.00 a month. It's like really??? This is what I get for being a decent guy and having a good job w/benifits?? She cheated on me after all but in cali it's a no fault state. After wanting to just quit my job and go mia. I couldn't, I just couldn't do that to my two little girls that I love so much. I kept my head on and stayed focused. Going to court battles and custody battles. I even had to get caps involved because they were showing up with black eyes and a lot of unexplained bruising. The mom was abusing them and I got 100 percent custody of the kids. 8 months later she gets 50/50 percent back. If you complete classes anyone can get their kids back even if you are a serious drug attic.
Though all of this I met a amazing woman that has helped me raise my kids as if they were her own. She has sacrificed so much to raise them ,even putting her respiratory career on hold. Things are still tough because of the 700 bucks alimony but that's coming to a end in 2 more years thank god. My ex will always be a thorn in my side but I can't let her bring me down. Just being happy is enough to pass her off. I'm no counciler but I seriously think my ex is bi polar.

On the bright side of things my new lady bought me a new 2016 mustang gt.

I want anyone to know no matter how hard things may be at a time in their life . It will get better, you have to make it better for you self and those around you.

Good job keeping your head up through it all. It's a prime example of why two things exist.
1) The saying "manslaughter is 5 years, alimony is forever"
2) Why a prenup should be standard these days

Thanks everyone. I had to totally distance myself from everyone and everything I truly wanted in life. I had a sweet mysticchrome cobra. Boss 5.3 ready to throw in. But I sold it all.
I've done a lot of coucling just to be at the point I am at now. Things are a lot different now. I still bust my but at work and the incentive program has really saved me. Every 3 months cashing out extra hours to help with paying the support. I've worked on a ton of cars on the side for extra money . Even getting ready to flip a Ford escort I bought for 200 and built a new motor for it . It should be ready to sell soon. So I've done everything I can do to make a buck legally.
Things are still a struggle but I really owe it to my girl Jennifer. I wouldn't be the man I am without her and all the support she has given me and my two girls. We are getting married this June :)
I have met up with quite a few members in the past. Was hoping to meet up again with people in the so called area.

Thanks.
I drove both and I couldn't believe I chose the auto.
I need a little time but it will be supercharged.

One of the best and worse nights of my life is when she attacked me like a psycho. The look on her face when they put the bracelets on her was epic. Of course she claimed I beat her up. So they took me in too. That part sucked...I never touched her. She also had no evidence of me beating her.
I was all scratched up on my neck and chest from her. So after a few hours of being interrogated I was released with no charges.
She had to be bailed out to the tune of 2500.00 got what she deserved.

That's crazy. I've had a nasty split up or 2, but it didn't involve kids thankfully. Glad it's turning around for you.

The impact I make on my kids is totally worth all the bad things that have happened. I could of been a dead beat but to me that was giving up on my girls . They deserve far better than that. I'm getting my oldest ready for school right now. She hugged me and said "dad I'm gonna miss you". That helps keeps me going every day.

When they are at school today I gotta finish a suburban . Blew it's motor and I did a motor swap for a friend at work. Just gotta hook up the exhaust and pullies now. I have had bronchitis this last week and it's took its toll on me. I got meds from the doctor and I'm finally feeling about 85-90 percent.

Jesus ****ing Christ dude. Glad to hear you stuck with it and it worked out but man, I probably wouldve left. I ****ing cant stand the judicial system when it comes to deadbeat mothers and everything getting stuck on the father because he is a good man with a good income. Had a coworker dealing with similar, he said the only thing keeping him from murdering his ex wife was that he couldnt think of hurting his kids like that.
