this is why I love my remote start, I take my dog everywhere. She lounges in the AC while I run into the store, I just set the timer on my phone to make sure Im back before it turns off.

I didn't realize a Gen 2 Raptor would auto shutdown after so long. I had left one idling at the track (luckily with no one inside) and it shutdown on me as I was walking up to it after ~30 min. There would be no limit to the number of people/companies I would sue if that bullshit "feature" had harmed my dog.

ya its in the autostart settings, my 2012 has a max run time of 15 minutes

hmmm, never thought of it. I'm sure its there so someone doesnt say, start it in their driveway (or worse, garage) then never leaves and the truck just idles until it runs out of fuel
