Ran into a new Shelby, was brand new white color , with about couple hundred miles on it from what guy told me. Bone stock with the 19/20's performance package ( I think thats what they call it) . He was a nice guy as we both complimented each others cars. Weather was about mid 60's , Did a few 45-55 pulls and I would have it by about 1/2 - full car , and slowly pulling away.
Raced till about 135 ish as I was barley getting into 4th gear. Towards 120 I would very slowy creep away from him.
I think with a tune , we are about even and with a pulley he would pull me ,no doubt
No egos lost , just car guys having fun.
Long live American muscle
Also Ive dynoed 490 before but after my last retune with the bigger filter element it dynoed about 480 , I dont think I lost power just think different dynos but my mods are in sig.

Sounds about right to me. Nice kill! Did porting your stock intake give you much of a gain?

Nice kill, OP... Your C6Z looks great. As someone else said, it's certainly no easy task to pull on a C6Z. They're monsters...

Hahaha by no means a kill fellas , he hung in their pretty damn good at times at my door but I did end up about almost a full car ahead and slowly pulling when we shut it down. I have no doubt a pulley GT500 will pull me heck I think an intake & tune GT500 would probably edge me out..I'am sure I will run into another one soon.

Thanks bro. As I said two American super cars battling. I don't get caught up in brand wars as I love all American cars. :-D

Porting stock intake I think gave me about 5 rwhp give or take.
X pipe and mufflers are more for sound. The intake and tune is usually worth 30-35 rwhp on these cars..

In my younger days I use to harass kids in my apten port 03 cobra...:-D:bowdown:
Before that I had a blown 01 SS. Miss those cars bad but had to move on. Again though all bad ass in their own ways.

The c6z is a bad ass car. I always tell people those cars from a roll are deadly. even if they only made like 480 500rwhp, they are nasty.

Nice ride op, and nice kill

Nice runs, no shame in either car losing, two of my favorite rides. Haven't ran a Z with your set up, would be interesting to see how much you would pull me by if you were a little closer. I make similar power numbers on my heaton.
