Even if it ends up being 6-8 weeks, the finished motor will be well worth the wait. Keep us posted.
Sleeving a motor correctly isn't something you wanna rush. I watch Rob at the shop do it, it's quite fascinating. He likes to put them in the fridge freezer the night before, does 1 bank one day and the other the next.I was told something like “next week Tim will be sleeving motors.” Lol. I’m pretty sure that I could get a more definitive answer if I really had to know. Some guys are saying it could take 6 to 8 weeks.
Yes I agree. Tim can take as long as he wants. This kind of work should not be rushed.Even if it ends up being 6-8 weeks, the finished motor will be well worth the wait. Keep us posted.
Tim just sent me pictures of mine. He must have been working on them close to the same time. Good luck with yours![/QUOTE.
Damn. Going to fly. U got a picture of it?Fox body, with twin turbos "thinking about going with Precision" The engine has Diamond flat top pistons, Manley I beam rods, ARP windage tray. Manley SS valves, Comp turbo Cams, billet pump gears. The total cost was over 15k and I supplied the 4.6 engine complete.
About how much did that run you, if you dont mind me asking. Ill be looking for a short block before soon & would rather just send mine to get done.I had MPR build my coyote short block and freshen up my heads. Basic Manley rods pistons no sleeves. Tim was great to deal with! I would use them again in a second.

Well my stock block was shot due to a spun bearing. So block, boss crank and Manley rods and pistons was $ 5500. That was a assembled short block. If you can use your own block I think it would be $4200-4500. Tim is reall a cool guy, i asked a bunch of questions and he was always really nice.About how much did that run you, if you dont mind me asking.
