Port and paint complete

Been busy on my Cobra. Last week was pull and rebuild the T-56, this week was pull and do some work on the Eaton.
I knew the supercharger had been off once by P.O. to paint it a horrible grey color. There was no inlet work done but when removing the intercooler I discovered the outlet had been ported. Perhaps that's why the car made 491rwhp with just exhaust and a 2.8 upper?
I set to work and opened up the intake side per POSI pictures and gasket matched. Also did the TB and plenum. Painted everything low gloss black and used allen head cap screws instead of the hex headed bolts.
Was also a perfect time to toss in my 60# injectors, MAFia, and 2# lower pulley I had been saving for this day.
I think it came out great and so happy to not have flaking paint on the blower anymore. Off to get a tune on wednesday, can't wait to see what it makes now.

When did you get this car? i think this was my buddies car he had for about 5 years. The blower was ported by ironhand and painted that color...does the car have a tubular k member? Send me a PM

Ya this was definitely my friend Andys old car. I was trying to buy it but couldnt get the money together so he traded it in on a RAM. It had a tubular K, H&R springs, mac long tubes, O/R H pipe, 2.76 upper, magnaflow catback, K&N FIPK2, ported blower. Tuned and dynoed by race related it made 513rwhp and 502rwtq. He owned the car from 06 till 2011. I have tons of Pics of the car and videos of us racing. Car was stout. Repairs were done properly after it was wrecked by the local ford dealer.

Ya I bought the car out of clearwater. I took the tube K member out. Have made a lot changes along the way, nothing major just some rework stuff.
I knew the car had been in an accident but what exactly happened? I would love some pics and videos of it from back then. The front suspension was seriously f'ed up.

Its a nice car enjoy it man. I was with him when he picked it up in 2006, i actually drove it home for him cause he was still learning to drive stick lol It was wrecked in 2010(or around that time) when he took the car to tallahasee for a weekend while he was in school and the wheel bearing went bad there. He dropped it off at a shop to get fixed and once the bearing was repaired the shop owners son took the car out for a joy ride and wrapped it around a pole...there was like $14k in damage. front bumper, hood, drivers door, driver quarter panel, side skirt, IRS and two wheels were replaced. Pics and videos are on my laptop. Ill post some up for you later tonight or tomorrow...who you gonna have tune it?

Thats not the blower I ported. I remember doing his port and that isnt how I did it.
