Haha, I have only been to the track 3 times in my life but I like it!

Came across this beast and had to have:

1993 Mustang LX Notchback
1968 351W bored .030 over 11:1 compression ratio
AFR 1422 ported and polished heads
Super Victor Intake
Demon 830 Carb
C4 reverse manual valve body
Built rear with 4.10
Full suspension
Roll Cage

probably close to 25k invested

Pics on post #7, sorry

Very nice. Best of luck with it. Is it pretty much ready to go, or do you have to invest more into it?

Gas n go!

Only thing I will do is bolt on a quieter exhaust if I want to cruise to a car show. I will keep the 3 1/2 dumps for the track!

Nice grab. If you really want to go fast with that car pull the 4.10's and replace with 3.55's. Add a 100 shot and hold on. Thats way to much gear for that setup.

Thanks for the input, the car is set up for Nitrous.

Should mention is has a 3800 stall.

What's the advantage of the 3.55's?

It will make the car faster. With 4.10's you will run out of motor out the back. Also leave the air cleaner in the trailer when you run it.

Car looks good! Should move out. Did any of the previous owners reside in michigan? I had a buddy who had a hatch that looked damn similar to this

Without knowing the RPM range, power it makes, or tire size that is great advice on telling him the 4.10's are "way too much gear" and that 3.55's would be better. :nonono:

OP, take the car to the track and find out.

4.10s are perfect for that setup on motor, and okay on spray too if you're using 28" tires. We spray a dart headed 408 (same .030 351 you have) with a C4 trans 5000 stall and 4.10 gear with a 275 shot and trap 6700rpm in a fox body on 28x10.5s Best ETs are 10.29 at 132 on motor and 9.13 @ 148 on the gun all through exhaust and street trim.
