No worries, all good with me. I just feel bad for you guys up there. He's told me the stories of the BS, and I tell him how it's basically normal here besides a few idiots who still drive, walk around by themselves with the face mask crap on.I apologize I must’ve misunderstood.
Are you guys still locked down over there??? My life never changed aside from stupid masks in stores. I haven't been wearing masks in stores for a while and nobody has said anything.. Yesterday in Kelowna mall tons of people not wearing masks. Seems to be only the college age demographic and Karens that still wear themView attachment 1709758 View attachment 1709758
It’s terrifying to think that so many of us have brought children into this world and where we’re headed potentially.
CDC is talking about masks again, the Delta variant.
......I expect the pin-head the runs my state, ( N.J. ) to jump right on this.
I suspect if there isn't some COVID19 something in the news, the Biden administration will have to deal with the southern border..
Don't forget, Biden told us of a dark winter with regards to COVID.Don, I saw a Fox News article on the masks with Delta this morning, but was the WHO, not CDC. And it right now pertains more to (Great Britain), Australia, New Zealand, Bangladesh, Portugal and Israel. Those countriees have all been forced to return to some form of lockdown because of the Delta variant, which originated in India. The good news is that Biden doesn't expect a return to masks here in the U.S. due to the number of people already vaccinated.

I'm 37 and we only have a 2 year old son. People either think I'm nuts or that I'm joking when I say overpopulation is a massive problem and that I don't like the direction the world is going on nearly every topic imaginable so I'm good with 1 child.
I know I can provide adequately for my son so that he can live a fairly comfortable life. We probably could provide for another child but I don't want to risk it.
Get your point, but these people are not liberals. This is why Liberals need to die
Technically they weren't forced to return to some form of lockdown because of the Delta variant. They were forced because they elected fools that still can't fathom the original lockdowns did squat.Don, I saw a Fox News article on the masks with Delta this morning, but was the WHO, not CDC. This was a major factor in our consideration of having a second child. Overpopulation and the direction of the world.
Our daughter is 12 now. I'm gonna be 48 (Holy **** time flies!!) this year. In hindsight, I wish we would've had a second child. I'm not gonna live forever and I worry about my daughter "fending" for herself. Poor word choice, but the reality is she potentially won't have family when my wife and I croak.
As our parents grow older and their needs change, I can't imagine that burden being put solely on one child. Also when my wife's Mom passed away, almost 5 years ago now, I couldn't image facing that alone, without a sibling to offer comfort.
I totally agree with what you've said, but there are nights I stay awake worrying about the reality of my daughter having to endure the death of her parents, potentially, alone. Shitty reality, indeed.
If I could travel back 10 years in time, I'd kick myself in the nuts, and say 'have a second kid'.

Do you not expect that your daughter will get married and have a family of her own?
