you need some tires, that mph is good for 10.5's to 10.8's
Yeah I know part 2 of the grudge match with the z06 is at my local track but has to be street tires not radials. Also if I break out 11.5 needs a roll cage. I was dataloging and video recording as well felt like I was spinning plates last night. The best part was I beat 2006 zx6r on that run. He had me out the hole and at the 1000 ft I chu chu trained him. We got are slips and talked, "Holy sh!$ I thought I had you and then I thought I heard thunder but when I saw your taillights..." Also was trying out a new tune from Lund so I will get in 130's by the time the Z gets to town. Thanks again Terry!

Good to hear your MPH is up like that, what pulley are you using? My car is back with my tuner at this shop now, he's installing my Circle D 2c/putting a 3.6 pulley on and working on my tune....I might have some new results by the weekend only this time I will be on a drag set-up.

If he can't put me in the 130mph range I think it's time to contact a different tuner like Shaun from Aed & Daniel from TSS and get their collabo tune Shaun was telling me they were working on!

The stock pulley that came with the kit at 9.8lbs of boost at 7200 rpm. I have SW header back with cats, Boss IM, ID 1000 injectors, meth injection but not using it yet too rich at current temps, Mt 82 with 3.31's and Lund tune. If your tuner doesn't get you in 130's I would call Shaun, or Lund.

10.78@132 mph coasting (ran out of gear; it's a 3:73 car)

Stock suspension with strange 10 way rear shocks
Stock clutch
Stock motor
Lund tuned

Wish I had an auto.

Yeah I know, another member here ran 116 with a couple bolt ons yesterday too.

:??: idk, i ran about 15 times. Im guessing it was heat soaked pretty good. I did 4 sets of runs, 3-4 passes within 2 hours. Not sure what the problem is with the tuning but about 6k+ it seems to not want to pull. Pretty legit, you install some parts and its still not tuned 2 months later.

:??: thats strange. i went a best of 12.20@118 with just a tune and racestars with ET streets on my 13 auto. consistently traps about 116.

Yeah boltons and headers AED tune went 119-121 trap now with FI 121-129 so far but spinning in all the trap times but 60-130 NA 10.6 @ DA of 800 with FI 8.0 @ DA of 3600 with some issues with meth. I'm confident when I get it dialed in I will trap 1/4 at 132+ and I will pull 60-130 of 7.5. In comparison bone stock our car pulls 12.6 or so when its all said and done 5 seconds and 20 mph over stock is a big improvement. in the 60-130 I'll pull a stock by 50 to 60 car lengths and bolton car by 30 car lengths. Coyote 13 has the power needs to get his tune and traction settled and he will be moving out:rockon:

That was literally in 102F heat. My best MPH was 134 but on the stock pulley. If I had better air and could max out 4th using a 3:55 gear - I imagine the MPH would be much higher.

I shift at 7800, mostly out of necessity due to the running out of gear issue.

The boss is a must for any centri car IMO. But especially for Vortech cars, as the Paxtons huff so much more air that us V3Si guys have to do something to keep up!

Yeah definitely a think a good piece of the low trap speeds is due to traction. I plan to order my F14s tomorrow. They will get some 315 NT05r's out back.

The car keeps pulling timing on the top end. I'm not going back to the track until I get those 2 things done. Highest trap I was able to get was 123mph.

Saw your thread......congrats on the 9sec pass, I hope to there with the same combo (Paxton/Circle D 2C) once the weather breaks here in TX.

I did pick up my car today from the Shop and I must say the Circle D TC did wake up my car like it did with my truck. Nice Sig BTW and it looks like the 5.0 might be taking over your PB that your Whippled GT500 put down in the near future.

IIRC, you are running an Aluminator, correct? SOLID times, and that mph is killer.
