Had some spare time this week and decided to pull the eaton, change its oil and the IC fluid. Heres what it looked like before:

Looks great! Just enough black, just enough shine! I'd be tempted to spray the red battery top black too. It's clashing with your colors. Cool table too. Original.

Looks good man but you cant be painting bolt heads , paint them silver with a brush or get new fancy ones. That top rad hose looks a little balooned out might be time for a new one or maybe its just the pic either way engine bay looks nice, apart from the red battery lol,,,cheers

Looks amazing, makes me wish I would have done mine in more of a matte color.

Very nice job with painting your Eaton. How long did it take you to prep it for paint? And did you remove your hood when you pulled your Eaton? I noticed the hood was off in one of your photos.

Good looking Cobra!

Thanks Bob, it took me about an hour to prep it and then 3 coats of paint so it took the better part of the day. I did take the hood off, I think it made the job way easier that way. Also made cleaning easier. Wish I had done it sooner, very happy with the result

Now you need to get some powdercoated valve covers

I like the black valve covers but I think in a black engine bay I need to go with a brighter color like ford blue or red. Nice Whipple btw
