oh, and beware... rediculously loud systems DESTROY cars. My friend has a 1100 watt system in his car and despite tightening up everything he can ever week, the car still rattles like no other and is basically falling apart. Almost all the light bulbs have burnt out and the electrical system has gradually become more and more ****ed up over time... and yes, he does have a cap on the power to the amp and has not had to replace any alternators.

I have a 1100 watt rockford amp in my 2001 Cobra and nothing bad has ever happened to me its probably been in my car for two years no rattles, never gone through alternators.
