Official 2023 College Football Season thread

Lets see,
Oregon was ranked in the top 10 both times Washington beat them.
Oregon State was ranked #12 when Washington beat them.
USC was ranked in the top 25 when Washington beat them.
I believe Michigan St was ranked in the top 25 when Washington beat them.
Arizona is currently ranked 14th and Washington beat them.
Utah was ranked #13 when Washington beat them.
Washington has won 20 games in a row.
Yet, not impressed...

The odds makers weren’t impressed either.. SOS rating for Washington is also lower than the others in the playoff.. UT finished the season strong and really pains me to say that.. not a fan. Should be a good game.

Washington gets no respect at all. They had Oregon, who was ranked lower, and who had lost to Washington earlier, as a double digit favorite in the PAC 12 Championship game. They had Washington as a underdog against a lesser ranked Oregon St team. And on and on.
Washington has won 9 straight games against ranked opponents, and they were not favored in most of them.
Even if they win it all, there will be a "yeah, but..." attached to the win.
What sucks is that the game does not start until near 9 pm local time. I get up at 5 am, so I am going to have to record the game and watch it tomorrow after work. Hopefully, nobody at work spills the beans.

What a great game. I can't believe that Alabama ran the ball lol. In that situation, you pass the ball. If the reciever doesn't catch it you at least have a shot at a pass interference call. Crazy.
