Whats the best choice for raising octane on a daily basis? I'd like to add a little extra insurance without having to buy racing fuel. Any downfall to running the bottled octane boosters all the time?

I think the only thing Torco does is turn the plugs red. Could be wrong though.

I run Torco at every fill. I run 1/2 a can per tank on the 91 tune and a full can per tank on the 93 tune. Thats mixing with 90. Ive ran it for years without any issues. The only reason I run it regularly is the crappy/low octane Alaska gas.

Around 20 bucks. Its cheaper to buy a 5 gallon pail. I think the last pail i bought was 200. Thats 20 cans which is roughly 10 bucks a can.

Interesting.....I've heard folks say they prefer other means to increase octane levels, but have never heard anyone say that Torco does not work. Below are the normally accepted mixture ratios for Torco. A can of Torco to 15 gallons will increase your octane levels 3 pts.

Jon Lund recommended Torco if I can't do a C16 mix.
Run E85 if you can. Gotta change you're injectors and most likely up you're fuel system that's what im in the process of doing now..

Yes, he's one of the one's that did octane testing which led to the results in the chart compiled above.
I have had great results with a trunk mounted methanol injection system. It will pay for itself very quickly. I'm able to run 20 degrees of timing and 20psi on 92 octane. I have ran this set-up for 4 years and have over 350 1/4 mile passes with zero issues.
I run 2 cans to 8 gallons of 93 on my race tune as per Lund
