It took forever to convince my wife that maple syrup doesn't need to be refrigerated. It was always such a pain in the rear when we would make pancakes and have to heat the syrup up instead of just getting down to business. Mmmm Pancakes.
From what I'm reading, eggs can be stored at room temperature as long as their protective coating hasn't been removed when processing/packaging. So eggs purchased fresh at a farm can be stored at room temperature. That, I didn't know.
