Pretty much sums it up. I can't believe people forget how bad he was sucking when he decided to take a knee.

I wear Nike at work. I paid 60$ for them hoes and will not be ripping them up, burning them or any other kind of destruction. This guy is a never was who disrespected the flag after Tim Tebow caught crap for praying.

Nike is overpriced and has been for ever and Crapernick just took it down with his trash carrer

My son has some nike gear for soccer. We will use till it tears apart. I will not support them even if they withdraw from the political ads.

Who buys their shit? Not poor ass motherduckers. Not anti corporation homos, i bet a lot of illegals aint buying that expensive shit, nope.

Maybe they can energize their sales to overseas.

Not sure who buys the crap. I buy the cheapest comfortable shoes i can find. After this I will just pay the extra dollar and get a different brand let the dummies who value shoes over life buy them.

There he is, everyone, the old man of the thread :D

Y’all would lose your mind if you knew how much some of my shoes cost.

And @gimmie11s wifeys been trying to get me to get some Jordans forever, but being a white guy i just can’t do it.

I played basketball in HS... (well.. rode the bench is more accurate). I wore Jordans for YEARS and loved when a new shoe would come out... This is in the 1990s mind you.

Today, I have a white pair of retro 6's that are probably worth more than I paid so ... now I just look at them LOL.

Wow, such classy responses in here today.
Yeah, whitey hater got his race trolling in high gear.

Not meant to be classy. Nike has some expensive gear and when they appear to be spitting in tye face of 75% of their market. Well bad move. Poor folk wearing that shit have to really stretch their funds to make their feet look good. Hell, i remember k mart specials when we were poor white trash. But we had shoes on our feet and food on the table without govt assistance.

Grow the hell up, stop blaming everything that goes wrong with your life on people out to get you because of your skin color. You, and people like you, are the reason racism will never die.

Because racism exists? Sorry if you want to be white and pretend it doesn't. I know a guy who posts about it from time to time on FB. Good career, happy/healthy family, and still gets random racism tossed his way. He was at walmart with his two girls, getting something like shampoo, walked down an aisle, and a white women who left her purse in her cart, 7 feet away, rushed over to grab it as he walk down the aisle. He simply smiled and said, "Pardon me ma'am" as he walked by.

So you agree the commercial is blatantly racist?

Do you even know what they word means?

rac·ist
ˈrāsəst

noun

  1. 1.

a person who shows or feels discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or who believes that a particular race is superior to another.
"the comments have led to her being called a racist"
synonyms: racial bigot, racialist, xenophobe, chauvinist, supremacist More
adjective

  1. 1.

showing or feeling discrimination or prejudice against people of other races, or believing that a particular race is superior to another.

So...clearly no. Why would a company advertise to a market they already doesn't support them? Is the concept of a company targeting their advertising to their focused customer base a new concept for you? Did you even watch the 2 minute commercial? Did you listen to the words spoken?

Uh how to you conclude that's racism? I've walked away and left my wallet in my cart and hustled back to grab it many times. Doesn't matter who is walking down the aisle. Anybody can be a thief.

You're free to think that way, that racism doesn't exist. The other far side would be to scream racism for everything and anything. The truth is more in the middle.

Hell, I had a detour send me into the ghetto, and I did a 5mph stop at a red light because there were 10-15 young black males at the corner, at 11pm. Nope, I'm not stopping in that circumstance. Is that racist? I wouldn't say so. But for an average black male to continually see women grab their purse a little tighter, at 5pm in a Target, and give him "that" look....yeah...that's a little racist.

Impressive Bing skills.

Then we'll have to agree that Nike (and you) are hypocrites.

I'm literally at a loss for words how you could make a connection of racism with that story.... Wow.

You and GT Premi are the type of people who if someone makes eye contact with you wrong, and they are of another race, you would consider that racist. You just look for an excuse to pull that card and benefit off it in some way. That is a sad way to go through life, and running around with all that misguided hate in you is going to put you in an early grave.

The world would also be a better place without people like that.

Im white and have had doors slammed by white women jumping into cars to get away from me and hold their purses close to them. Not to mention how many black men have crossed the street to avoid walking by me. Get over it

You were in HS in the '90s?? Well that explains a hell of a lot. I won't be interacting with any of your BS anymore.

What you doin' speakin' that real life stuff, man??? Don't you know that'll get you kilt around here??? In this world, racism doesn't exist. In this world, the white people are free to be nasty, offensive, assholes to other races and it's "just how it is."

Colin Kaepernick raises $20,000 for Assata’s Daughters

Sorry, he donated to an organization named after a convicted cop-killer, and and FBI most-wanted terrorist. I suppose the organization isn't DIRECTLY supporting cop killers. But they certainly aren't fighting them, either.

You might want to do some deeper research into the Assata Shakur story before trying to use that as a defense. Just sayin'.
