Hey guys, I've been pushing my Roush 2.3 TVS pretty hard and I thought I'd make a build thread with pics and updates of this winters upgrades. My ultimate goal is 900whp, drive it to the track and lay down 8.90 passes. I'll probably be a little short of that this year due to funds & injector size, but should see low 9's & 850whp.

I have to thank a few people who are helping me along the way:

Lidio at Alternative Auto for tuning my car the last 2 years. If your local to Michigan, I highly recommend a dyno tune from Lidio. We can both usually be found at No ET events at Milan Dragway.

Justin Starkey for great product support and advise. I Highly recommend his 8 rib belt system and quality twin 67mm TB I ran all last year. Looking forward to seeing the rewards of the Gen 2 case over the old Roush.

Jason Teixeira (aka 1320 Junkie on SVT) for his mad skills at porting and polishing. He has a lot of experience in the Shelby world and I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do over here with the Coyote!

grnenvy (Nick) and Kelly Aiken for tips here and there as I pick their brain on FB...

Old set up: Roush TVS w/ 69mm upper 5% lower ATI dampener, VMP twin 67mm TB & high flow elbow, 1 3/4 BBK w/ X pipe, 3 chambered Flow Master mufflers, 123mm JLT CAI, 80lb FRPP injectors, Fore stage 2 fuel sys w/ 2 465 pumps, E85 from Meijer's pump, Dynotech alum driveshaft, 3.55 gear, stock trans, stock converter.

Motor was built last winter by Sean at Alternative Auto w/ 11.25:1 Diamond pistons, Manley rods, & billet oil pump gears. Nothing fancy here.

Keep in mind this is a street car, not a gutted trailer queen! Stock seats, stock brakes, stock front A arms, BMR K member, BMR control arms, stock cut springs.

Best pass of 2015 was 9.48 @ 146.8. Dyno said 781whp without the converter locked, but looking at the 146.8 and race weight of 3780 I've been told it's more like 810whp. 146.8mph & dyno was on the same day.

Maybe I read too fast but what is it being torn down for?

What's the plan?

The Plan... More boost, Ported Gen 2 case, ported lower intake, 3" Stainless Works Retro exhaust with flow thru mufflers. Maybe take a little weight off, and work on the suspension.

What size upper and lower do you think you will end up with?

How much oil did you find in the intercooler? Were you running breathers/catch can? I always knew oil in the intake hurt octane but never thought about it hurting the cooling ability of the intercooler if it gets covered and caked up.

I already have the 5% lower, but I'm going to machine the Roush snout to accept a 63mm upper.
Then hopefully next year swap to the 15% and add cams. Definitely will need ID1300's then
