I already have the 5% lower, but I'm going to machine the Roush snout to accept a 63mm upper.
Then hopefully next year swap to the 15% and add cams. Definitely will need ID1300's then
I'll definitely be watching this closely. Machining my roush blower case is probably during next winter for me. This is gonna be a fun one to watch!

How much oil did you find in the intercooler? Were you running breathers/catch can? I always knew oil in the intake hurt octane but never thought about it hurting the cooling ability of the intercooler if it gets covered and caked up.

I didn't run separaters and there was definitely oil in the intake and intercooler. I've been told it doesn't hurt anything, and at 146mph didn't hurt performance. I will be going with dual breather cans down by the bumper this time though...

Should haul ass. All you tinkerer's are going to make me think hard about the current VMP Gen2 2.3l TVS case...we did wear out that tooling from nearly 1000 gen2 units produced so it may be time for a change.

Of course you will be thinking of a Gen3 TVS right after I buy a GenII. Props to Jay the tinkerer for getting the creative juices flowing

I did some measuring tonight with a caliper... Looks like the TVS lower intake port is .100 smaller in length and width to the stock unported head port.

I put half of the lower on without the IC so I could feel the mismatch at the ports. I also noticed the intake wasn't square on the heads all last year. Lots of play and the rear has a natural tendency to favor the passenger side.

A buddy of mine is a tool and die guy, and did a great job machining the Roush snout & hub to accept a 63mm pulley.
