Ok guys I am looking at getting some gauges. At first I was contemplating only 2, getting the speedhut cobra gauges, the boost/vacuum and a wideband. Now I am considering 3, the third being voltage. Also which mount do you guys recommend? I will be using a pillar pod. Anything else you would do differently?

I went with GUAGES.jpg duel widebands on the instrument cluster. Speedhut gauges to match the factory and (2) 30-2310 AEM wideband controllers/sensors.

SOS does not offer a 3 gauge pillar mount. And you need to contact them to see about sending your pillar in for them to mount the pods to because for stopped making the pillar pieces. The other option for the 3 gauge is the steering column from autometer or their dual gauge bezel that goes around your stock gauges like posted above. Then you need a 4th gauge.

Frankly, I have never liked the aeroforce gauges. And their poor customer service recently didn't change my opinion. The intended purpose of the gauges is a great concept. Just fail in other areas.

Do you have a radar detector? I have my passport 8500 configured to display voltage all the time when there is no threat.

I have the two gauge cluster bezel with an AEM wideband and AEM boost, no problems here.

I am guessing you do not sell their product as a vendor?

I really like my sos pod/steering column combo. I have auto meter lunar series boost and water temp, then aem wideband on the column.

I have a single aeroforce gauge (with WB) mounted on the column pod, and two speedhut gauges mounted in a sos pod on a-pillar. Those are boost/vac and oil pressure.

For those of you with the steering column mount, does it get in the way of the other gauges or is it low enough?

I'm 5'11" and usually sit with the seat 95% back, and the only thing I can't see are the gauges that can light up like the CEL. Before I got retuned and my CEL was on I couldn't see it. Once it got dark out I was able to see if reflect off the windshield. This never bothered me though. You can easily lean forward a little bit to see if they're on. It's good too because if you're going WOT and want to keep an eye on the A/F it's in perfect site. Definitely doesn't black the tach.

I like the idea of the 2 pillar gauges and a wideband on the column if I cant get a 3 pillar set up. I really dont need a scan gauge as I have torque on my phone to check that. Unless for some other reason I should get one. I was just liking the idea of having voltage to notice a dying alternator. So if I stick with a straight wideband I can get all 3 from speedhut to match correct? I will be going through Jason so Jason what do you recommend? Is voltage a useless gauge and I should get something else instead? I like Bradys idea of oil pressure, but at least there is a dummy gauge for that on the dash. Nothing for voltage however.

Ok thanks. I'll be going with that then. BTW I always loved your car.

I absolutely love my RacePak! If your planning on buying $700-$800 in gauges I would highly recommend looking into a RacePak. You can configure it in many ways and can display nearly anything you can think of. My favorite thing about it is the built in sweeping shift lights and warning lights.

Here's a little vid so you can see the shift lights.

I'm guessing you have zero idea how long Jason has been around and working on these cars. Maybe he had some issues in the past seeing as he doesn't just do one and done, but many cars. OP search me and you'll see what I run.

Just throwing this in the mix... Small laptop or mounted tablet with bluetooth or wifi OBD2 connector. Display any gauge you want. Except you will still need the wideband installed to get a AFR reading.

Then you can scan codes with the devices, display different styles of gauges, different themes of gauges, program different minimums and maximums, set up alarms for sensors, etc.

Calm down tiger! Of course I know who Jason is, and how many cars he has touched, and how great his services are! I was asking if he sold their product and discontinued because he wasn't satisfied. Wasn't attacking him or you! We all know you are running an awesome setup with your gauges as well, we all have great setups, we are Cobra owners! No need to insult anyone's intelligence or for overreaction lol geez!
