Here's the only picture I have of my DD/Beater 2003 IS300, A5, LSD, Voice NAV. Didn't intend for the car to become classified as a beater, but the guy that sold it to me has a severe lying/exaggeration problem and let's just say I've been busy resolving issues during my ownership of the car.

I can say I've grown to like the car more and more as I fix each issue. And mpg's keep tremendously improving!

2005 civic si. 160k miles. Still running the original clutch & struts. Only non-scheduled maintenance has been a few bulbs, fuses and a O2 sensor.
I'd love to get a quicker hatch (ms3/focus st), but this car's been too good to me.

I know this topic has been done before but since i just picked up a beater to put the snake in hibernation i was interested to see what you guys daily. Please dont post pics of your cobra unless you consider it a beater paint faded door dings all over lol.
Just picked up this beauty. 1994 mercedes c280 with 200k on the clock. Its got its small bugs but it seems quite well taken care of. Picked it up for 1500.

You can't handle this beater... 96 Rolla, Bought it was 140k on it.. and 16pages of maintenance records!!! Shit never missed 1 oil change, and every 3k by a dealer!! 5 spd. 1.8L of shit your pants. No joke though, this thing is so freaking clean it's unreal. Paint is shiny as shit still, interior was perfect. Just lost a hubcap though. So I gotta get new ones.. AND 36mpg.. FTW

Another for team Rolla here. 02, 5 spd, CE with 140k on it. Paid more than I am going to admit, but it was a fleet vehicle so it also had a massive maintenance folder. Except for the paint failing on the hood, its in amazing shape. Perfect interior, engine and trans are like butter and 38-40 MPG. Awesome gas mileage, dirt cheap to insure, timing CHAIN, and because it is a stick its not too horribly boring to drive. :burnout:

My 04 5-speed Cavalier LS Sport. Owned it since 06 and have almost 100k behind the wheel. New motor with 75k on it, runs great and still gets 35+ on the HWY.

And as it appeared in 07 before I realized dumping money into a Cavalier was silly:

I guess my new "beater" 14 F150 Limited, next to my new DD 15 Cadillac Escalade. Surprised at how much my wife likes the F150. First time in a Ford in a very long time.

Paid $500 for it off CL 2 years ago. Had blown reverse and was stuck at a construction site. I drove it all the way home lol

Day I brought it home:
