Bengal? And a...?

They are both Cheetohs which is a cross between a Bengal and an Ocicat.

The marble one is an f2 and the brown one is f4. They are pretty unique. More like a dog than a cat.

I had a long post made up last night but I was intoxicated and deleted it. Let’s start indoors.

Started a new job in 2011, first few months were traveling, wife wanted a cat. Fine.

Got 2 cats from shelter. Whatever.

Deaf Cat

One had issues, needed antibiotics to fix the jacked up cat. She’s been 100% deaf ever since. Pukes all the time. Recently started shitting all over too. ****ing excellent. Hopefully she’s dead soon.

Orange Cat

Wife let Orange Cat become an inside/outside cat around 5 years old in 2016. He promptly disappeared. I would assume coyotes. Genius

No pictures, he’s dead.

Stormy

Stormy was a barn cat that my wife let my oldest son bring indoors as a kitten. He’s pretty normal.

Things get weird here.

Charlie

This ****er also came from barn at the same time as the next cat. She had issues with her eyes. They’re scarred and she has partial vision in one eye and less in the other. Wife waited forever to get her fixed. Went through a peeing stage. Pee here. Pee there. Pee everywhere.

Blind Cat (Ray- as in Ray Charles)

Brought in one day by my MIL. Her eyes were buldging out of her face. Literally like an alien. Disgusting. Should have put her down. Nope, $1,000 dollars later she had her eyes removed and now she lives in my house. She’s actually a good cat. Minds her business, plays, does cat stuff. It’s bizarre watching her chase bugs and track them when they fly around the lights. Also hilarious when she gets startled and runs into stuff.

That’s a start. I left out Mr Lovey, aka **** Face, aka Mr FF

I’ll share his story when I get into the shit show that is the barn.

Exactly!!! Woke up this morning to my pit helping me clean the litter box by way of munching on steamy tootsie rolls. Should have taken a picture of the paralyzing gaze she gave me when she was caught red handed

I haven't had a cat in about 20 years but this thread makes me want one.
I've only had the one I have now. I wanted a pet but a dog was to much maintenance so I decided to get a cat and see what that was like. Now 15 years later I don't know if I would not have a cat after Bats passes. They are crazy no doubt but they have a coolness to them that's funny and respectable.

Here’s an abbreviated barn post.

Moved here in 2016. Lots of cats. Wife said we’ll catch them and fix them.

# of outside cats fixed as of 7 AM this morning : zero

The most I ever counted alive at one time was 34 or 35. If you count deceased kittens, easily 40+.

We’ve given away about a dozen over the years. Only had 2 hit by cars in the road. Two have been killed by vehicles in our driveway. Raccoons have killed a bunch of kittens in the barn. If anyone knows what raccoons are capable of then you known what’s coming. I’ve picked up more than two dozen kittens just ripped to pieces over the last few years.

It’s ****ing nuts. Feet, bodies, head etc…

Several raccoons have met their demise, and its actually been a couple years since a slaughter.

The bad year I named our barn Game of Thrones because everyone was dying.

Male Runt aka Trans Cat aka Caitlyn

Current matriarch of society. Probably 5 years old. Born as the male runt of a litter. Renamed Trans Cat when she got pregnant. Finally renamed Caitlyn when her tail was injured and fell off.

Crooked Head

This cat sucks. Just look at his retarded head. Has a giant nutsack, so I imagine he’s been responsible for a lot of kittens the last couple years. He and I don’t get along.

PP2

Not sure if he’s actually Peter Pans brother or not. Peter Pan was the resident friendly orange cat for a season before running behind a wheel of a backing truck in the driveway. Of course I was blamed, but there’s no proof it was me. When this guy showed up I promptly named him PP2. Friendly to a flaw. He follows anyone he can find all over the place. Jumps up and into visitors vehicles (amazon guy, internet contractors, roofers etc…)

A few current members of society.

One story remains. I’ll save Chapter 3 for later.
