I have a 3 stone rotating thing for some knives, for carry knives I use a Smith brand diamond thing, to get a nice razor edge on my benchmades (they get used a lot and it takes longer the harder the steel)
How about a throwing spike?
Jericoh Hogbody Mk IV, he classifies this as a small knife. 1/4" 1095, it's a chunk.

My daily carry. A Chinese Kissing Crane.
A gift from a knife collecting co-worker. White bone Boker.
A knife from Nepal that a friend got for me on her travels there. I dont know anything else about it.
A letter opener and pen set that my Grandpa made from scratch. He even make the box.
Another that my Grandpa made. Once again he made the box also.

A failing lock, broken tip & mediocre blade metallurgy/frequent sharpening means retiring the current work knife (buck strider)

To it's credit, the strider held up to 6+yrs of prying opening well covers, breaking apart ice/cement, cutting through 1/2" OD poly tubing/cord, trowel use etc. :thumbsup:

Just got about 20 of these Spyderco Bugs in the other day. Not exactly a GIANT knife, or one for personal protection, but it'll cut the hell out of packing tape. :lol1:

Got them from one of my retail dealers. They are pretty easy to find on the Internet... do a search for Spyderco Bug.
Good thread! I actually just started getting into knives and don't have much knowledge about them, but I do love what I've gotten so far! From top to bottom; KA-BAR Tanto, KA-BAR Fighter and KA-BAR Warthog...
