There's some very cool knives in here. I just recently started getting into them and bought my first one for EDC. It's a Benchmade Griptilian. I love it.

First time seeing this thread. I have some nice steel, mostly Spyderco's\ZT's for pocket carry and all sorts of fixed\outdoor blades. SY Dogfather LE being my absolute favorite.

Not to derail the thread too much, but out of curiosity, how many of you guys use your knives on a daily/regular basis and what kind of things do you use them for? A lot of these knives look really cool, and I have thought from time to time about getting one......just not sure if I'd be getting one just to be getting one, or if I'd actually find a use for it regularly.

I didn't carry a knife until I found a Kershaw Leek in a parking lot. Now I always have one in my pocket, never know what you'll need it for. Love the Leek, it's very thin and low profile so its hardly noticeable in my pocket.

Opening boxes, cutting damn near anything, opening bottles with the handle, getting metal/wood splinters out of my hand. Even used it as a lever once when my dad pinched his hand between a log and a branch while cutting up trees lol. Only strong thing I had on hand, spur of the moment.

Some of my babies.
Esee 5 1095
Benchmade s30v custom grip. my favorite!
Hogue extreme by elishewitz 154cm steel
Kershaw rake composite w d2 steel this thing is insane sharp
Zt 350 my workhorse
And my leatherman

I rotate through them for edc (minus the esee lol). Not pictured is my kershaw scallion that currently is somewhere under my seat and a few belly rippers. I really want a Hinderer or Strider.. But Im currently in the market for a fixed blade EDC, but hard to pick one! Looking at Nocturnal, busse, or american kami.. My wife WAS happy that they were cheaper than guns at one point lol

I carry my Emerson Commander Karambit everyday. And no I do not use it for cutting/prying things. The blade itself has barely been used. I've been meaning to buy another Emerson combat karambit to replace it for edc since the commander karambit is a discontinued blade.

Here are a few knives I've collected recently. The top one is my Helle Knife Dokka is the model. Second one is a cheap one I found at my local air/gas distributor. Last one is another cheap knife I got as a best man gift.

More shots of my favorite knife. I will be purchasing more of these knives in the near feature.

Where are you guys buying good quality buttery fly knives from? Id like a good one but nothing cheap made from china.

As for real knife use, i have a little kershaw folder. Not too big but it's a great tool.

The Medford Praetorian in my eyes is the pinnacle. That will be my next purchase...things look so badass. If you haven't seen them check them out. All kinds of designs. But they can get up to $2k on some models...insane.

Pretty sure all the Balisong guys rave about the Benchmade 42.
