We just got the proto type tube in today to give the OK on.
It looks awesome!

It's rotational molded cross link plastic and will be offered in a standard black plastic finish or a body color matched painted finish.

This tube is modeled after the Carbon Fiber unit that has proven to make some serious HP.

Now get this, retail cost on the standard finish is only $299 and a $20 upgrade for exact body color matched.
That's cheaper then the competition by $50-90:beer:

We will be updating the web site shortly and shipping kits in 2-3 weeks (color will be another week or so)

I will get this tube painted Kona Blue next week and post up pictures.

Thank you for your patients and you will not be disappointed

Jay

Looks like a cover for the sound tube if you don't want to use it, but obviously still has the port for it if you do.

Yes, just like the Carbon version we lowered the sound tube port lower on the inside bend. So if you want to use it you can, if not, you can cap it with the supplied cap and at most angles it will not be seen.

Power will be the same as in the Carbon as well

Thanks
Jay

FINALLY!!! i was waiting for a better looking intake. i loved the style of the carbon fiber one but didnt want carbon fiber. i like the black on the steeda but hate the aluminum from the MAF and box... this JLT plastic tube is perfect. it actually matches the rest of the stock engine bay:rockon: as soon as i get deployed and situated il be ordering this oh yea.

Hrm...to paint or not to paint...

Can't wait to see the kona blue painted version! Would look kick-ass painted with the 'JLT' in bright chrome accent! But a silver painted logo would probably be okay for me too.

question for Jay first do you sell the rubber cap to cover the intake tube and second when eliminating the sound tube do you take it all out of the engine bay all the way up to the firewall?

So is it now sold out or is that there until you update the site and we can start ordering them at some point? Also, I didn't notice a candy red paint option.

Thank you

We don't paint Red Candy as it' an expensive 3 stage paint. Redfire is very close.
The site says Sold Out, but we don't even have them built yet.
