I really like it plain or painted. You 5.0 guys got it lucky cause the one thing I hated for the GT500 guys was we could only get carbon which I think looks too ricey for my taste. Also what size is the MAF on the gt 5.0?

As far as which is better, it's up to you. Power will be the same, so it comes down to looks and cost.

What would happen if you ran this unit with no tune? I am debating between it and the C&L for my daily driver however I like the look of the JLT better.

Just order a black painted one & get a silver paint pen & do it yourself.

You will get a CEL and run lean. You must tune for the CAI. Let me know if I can help you. We made sure to come up with a great looking and performing kit for the 5.0.
We didn't want any aluminum MAF housing to interupt air flow or the over all look of the tube. 5 or 7 racers in the MM&FF 5.0 shootout ran JLT's :beer:

We will be offering them painted in all body colors, even black. We are working out the details on the paint process right now and ahould have them shipping in a couple weeks.

We paint in large quantities, so we wouldn't be able to add the silver to the letters, but a paint pen would do the trick.

This might be the 1st thing I order from AM.

1. When will American Muscle have this avail with SCT Tuner combo?

2. Does it not sound good with the sound tube? Why do people run it without it connected?
