Installed Black rear deck lid on my MG Cobra

Im not quite sure how I like it yet, I have mixed feelings about it, I was gonna wait til my black Cardinals license plate I have on order gets here but I figure I would throw it up now. Im hoping with the license plate on it will look better, also maybe blacked out tails with the reverse light cutout might look better too? Just wanted to throw it up and get some honest opinions.

Yeah I mean its not terrible, I just think something is missing is all, I figured it would go well with my black bumper inserts and the already black-ish lower valence. I think with the all black license plater will make it flow better, i will post pics when I get it (MVD said 4-6 weeks :kaboom

Ahh I almost got the flat (matte) black too!! I figured the glossy look would look better but what do I know lol

I snagged it from another recent thread of a member who does tai llight tinting, I havent got mine done but when/if I do, Im gonna have him do mine exactly like that, the thread is a few pages back I believe, MIKES96SVT

is it the whole lid, or just the area between the tails. I did flat black between the tails on the Bullitt when I had it and I loved it.

I like it. I think satin or flat would look better, but the gloss will be much easier to maintain and no worries about wax screwing it up. I say leave it.

Me, too. If it were flat or matte black it would look more factory. But it certainly looks okay, though, either way. Especially with the black lower bumper valance and bumper inserts.
