See I like the building process, taking it from nothing to a bad ass car. I would hate to have the car and tell everyone I bought it like that. I don't know.
buy one done. No way will you get anywhere close to a nice car for ten grand unless you start with a car that is pretty much done.
I bought mine for $2000, and completely rebuilt it. I spent around $15,000 for everything when it was said and done. I built mine, however, to look good versus run real good because I didn't put on a supercharger or turbo. I will in the future, but for now all I care about is having a loud, good-looking car that turns heads every where I go. If you don't care about looks then you can easily put together a fast fox for $10,000.
P.S. It does suck though when you know a lot of cars out there can outrun me, but hopefully in the future that won't be the case.

When I started my revamp of my 91GT I had $10,000 and that bought my Dart short block AFR heads and Jesel Rockers.
I don't EVEN want to think of just how much I've sunk into this bucket (AKA 6 year project).
