As the title says. I just purchased a 2004 Screaming Yellow Cobra recently with intake exhaust and tune 421HP. Could you tell me about your worst mod experience and what you would skip the next time. Past car was a 2001 Cobra and I would have skipped the stiff coil-overs for the street and just done a set of drag springs instead

 just save up and buy a whipple or a kenny bell and some fuel up grades cooling to and tune it (on E85 ) and call it a day thats pretty much the best thing to do. later on if you want more power you can start buying the little things. or just turn up the boost!

I dont have a terminator. But if I did, I'd just skip anything with an Eaton and go right for twin screw or twin turbo. Also, start with a 26 spline input and new clutch. Then do the fuel system and blower.

I don't know, I'm probably in the minority here, but I kind of wish I skipped all of the mods I did to the engine. The mods I don't regret is the suspension stuff like the FTBR bushings, Hans Racecraft subframe connectors, race springs, MM steering rack bushings, stainless brake lines, etc. To me those things were the best bang for the buck in transforming the whole car, and how it feels. About the only thing I would do to the engine if starting again is maybe throw a 2.9 pulley, exhaust, intake, and tune. Absolutely everything you do past that point, will just bring more headaches, loss of mileage, dependability, and the truth is you will never be truly happy once you go down that path, because there is always more mods you can do to make it just a bit faster, so you will keep draining your bank account to keep up. If you have the money, maybe a conservative Whipple setup with basic fuel mods, and call it a day.;-)

Same as everyone above. I would skip the ported blower and do TS. You would have figured I would have learned this the first time with my last car but nope.

Yea, I forgot about bushings. I have an IRS in my car and they are AWESOME! Definitely the first mod I'd do to an 03 cobra.

That's why I opted for the Bassani mid length headers. Adds to the flow and sound, but with none of the clearance issues. Of course, you do still have to drop the k-member to put them on, so that's why mine are still in the box atm...:rollseyes

Worst mod I ever did was venting the engine block by adding a nice big hole in it. Definitely the worst mod ever.

On a side not if anyone wants to go turbo I am going to be selling all the piping, wastegate, blow off, intercooler and everything from my hellion set up.
