You an NWS meteo? What wfo are you at?Yeah that is true, we still send WFO reps out, but generally if it’s looking like an EF5 we can opt to call in a third party from HQ or SPC. Doesn’t always happen though. Depends on the workload.

Lol someone didn’t want to make payments on that Cherokee any more.
Not legal to drive on the beach, I doubt insurance will pay out on it. Also, that area is slathered in cameras, they'll see who the driver was.
At least 30 dead so far, wouldn't be surprised to see it hit low 100's with hundreds still missing. Who knows how many got swept away after their house got submerged/demo'd
best pics of bahamas I've come across. It's hard to even make sense of what I'm looking at in the photos--pretty disturbing to say the least.

About 198 trees shit all over my yard. Never seen so many leaves, pine cones, pine straw, branches, limbs, and general crap strewn all over the place. It was piled so high on our private road I had to push it all down the street with the mower so the wife could get out.
Still without power. Been out since 1am yesterday. But I bought a 6250 watt Cat (catapillar) generator. Had it running for about 8 hours yesterday on a full tank and went to bed/shut it off at half a tank. Despite it being 800 bucks, god I'm thankful to have it. It's a tank. But we will be prepared for next season/next power outage I reckon.
Dump all the leaves etc on the neighbor yard you love so much.
