Ok, a couple day's ago I reached out to some of you cobra guys about some advice/info on what kinds of lowering springs to go with...and ISO's or no ISO's......and all the feedback was great. thank you guys........

Now, as I sit here behind my cobra......when I drop these H&R springs.....it seems that the stock wheel is going to be tucked under the fender......my only guess is that this look will not look as nice as I had planned for it to look......

So now question, how wide can I go on the rear on the stock rim??? the tires i have now are 245/45R17........what is the maximum width i can go on the rear???? and what tires???

I really don't want to put these H&R springs on with them going to be tucked under the fender........

Thanks guys

I've read that people have ran 315 Nitto 555's. They don't run as wide as some 315s. I would just go ahead and get the 10.5" reps

Wow, it has 245s on the back? Stock size was 275. But a 315 nitto would work good.

Thats what I'm saying....... should be 275 stock.... all around. 315 nitto's run little narrower than other brands. BFG 285 kdws fit nice.

I'm running 295 BFG's in 18's out back, and I'm lowered with H&R's no iso's. No rubbing issues.

I run 315 Toyo R888's on 18X10 inch wheels. H&R race springs without iso's. had my fenders rolled by EBcobra and MM low profile bolts just to be safe.

I recommend the AFS 10.5 replicas for the rear. That's a good way to keep the stock look and get a wider tire out back. Then you could fit a BFG or Toyo R888 315.

If you want to stick with the stock 9" wide wheel, as stated above the nitto 555 315's or BFG 285 kdw's will work nicely.
