So with the key on (not starting) I'm getting about 5v at the coil plug, but I tried to ground it out and could not get it to spark. Also I'm still actively getting the 1233 code after replacing the fpdm.
Also just put a pressure gauge on the fuel rail and I'm getting 40psi hit when the pump primes and 40-55psi while crankingSo with the key on (not starting) I'm getting about 5v at the coil plug, but I tried to ground it out and could not get it to spark. 5v isn’t right
Recheck again.
But only red wire.
Have you confirmed meter working if touching battery positive and seeing 12v.
I did test the meter on my 2014 GT on the battery and tested good! unfortunately I cant ground it on the battery on my cobra as I have the battery relocated to the trunk. what should volts be at coil plug with key on? im thinking that I might have a bad PCM.+1 and ground to the battery negative. Caster camber plates "should work" but it's not threaded into the metal, bolted through and holes might be painted. No guarantee good continuity to ground.
so 12v on the red wire what should I get on the other?
If the wire is ripped out of the compactor would it prevent it from starting?
Okay guys noticed something today while trying to start the car. When cranking the theft light stays lit up for about 3 seconds and then goes out. First thing I noticed when the car "broke" was the my negative battery cable had come completely undone and was not touching. Do I need to replace the PCM? Or get my PATS redone? Or could it be as easy as just getting my keys reprogrammed?
