Ha. As mentioned, never been a glock fan and would not like this gun if they didn't change some of the glock features. Very impressed by this gun and will probably run it in some of my indoor competitions. If you haven't shot one, I think you would like it.

I have to post this as I have always been a glock hate boy. In reality they are a very reliable gun but there is nothing "special" about them to me. Never owned one or cared to. I picked up this Shadow systems XR920 Elite yesterday. This is pretty much a glorified Glock on Steroids. It just felt so good in my hands. This is pretty much the G17 grip/frame with a G19 slide. It does not have the Glock cant. (Which I am not a fan of anyway.) Went and shot it today and could not be happier or more surprised. I think it is now in my top 2 favorite guns that I own. It was a tack driver and I am very amazed at how low recoil the gun had for being such a light gun. It even shot my "watered" down reloads. This is very surprising with stock springs on a new gun.

I have SW nickel plated .357 magnum from the 70's or 80's with a 2.5" barrel and it's a hand cannon. The recoil is pretty stout! I like to put a few .38 rounds followed by the .357 to feel the difference.

Yeah, I can well imagine it being a hand cannon. I bought a new SW Model 19 Carry Comp (3" barrel) last year but couldn't adjust to it and sold it.

I haven't shot it at all yet, I bought some .38 special to try it out with. Not too excited to send a 357 magnum out of that little thing but I will carry it when backpacking and hiking.
