Holy crap! That dresser looks like a night stand next to that (awesome) gun safe.

Nice fire rating.
I wanted/needed something with a lot of space and good protection.

While researching safes, the prevailing advice was to buy bigger than what you think you need. That is solid advice.

Picking a safe is a lot like picking the right Christmas tree in a field. It somehow gets bigger once it's in the house.

Built a couple twinkies today. First time building/assembling one myself. Get the sights adjusted tomorrow and then they'll become safe queens with the rest until the zombies come or revolution v2.0 happens. Bought the lowers several years ago on a black Friday sale then forgot about them until a month or so ago, finally ordered the stuff to finish them and here's the result.

Those look badass.
Care to give a parts breakdown? I've never built one but would like to one day.

Anderson lower, everything else was PSA or Magpul. I screenshot the email from PSA, so you can see what I got and what it cost, which would have been a little cheaper two years ago when I bought the lowers but oh well. The lowers were only $30 back then during the black Friday sale.

Two things that are not on the list are Magpul angled foregrip and Magpul MBUS sights. I bought those locallly.

Shot them both today. Both did great, worked perfectly, grouped great. But one of them is right of target and I can't adjust the MBUS sights enough to center it. Not sure the problem, got tired of ****ing it and had several other firearms jonesing to put holes in paper. I'll figure it out later.

But overall, they did good, considering I assembled them and they're nothing special. I'm confident I can take out zombies or liberals from 100yards or less if the time comes.

BTW, one of the things I bought came with 10 Magpul 30rd mags, can't remember which item, but I got 20 Magpul AR mags in that deal also. So the mag count is now up to 55 plus two 60 round Magpul drums, which I love showing my friends that lean left of center.

Century AP5-P with the same Rugged Obsidian can from a few post back. I haven't ran the gun suppressed yet but it did run flawless out of the box. I did 600 rounds of 115gr Federal in about an hour and it never skipped a beat.

It did have a lot of aluminum shavings inside when new. I cleaned everything up before the first trip out and it just ran.

Unfortunately, I bought this with the $200 rebate and then Century released the bare bones version for $600 less.

I have 5 mags for it total. I ran 4 mags through it to check operation and started handing it off the group. If you wanted to shoot it you had to load your own mag. With 10 people it was pretty easy to keep it running. It got so hot that the kids didn't want to shoot it anymore lol

The pic I posted on the last page is of my CZ and the same suppressor. The CZ being direct blowback with a heavy bolt isn't as nice to shoot as the delayed roller mp5/ap5/cmmg banshee/sig mpx, ect. Having said that my binary trigger CZ Scorpion leaves a smile on everyone's face and that's all that matters to me.

Nice… that mid length gas system, correct?

I’d finish it off with a Magpul Moe SL mid length hand-guard… Id be cherry on top!
Yes on the gas system.

It's my first rifle. I didn't realize how quickly you run out of real estate for accessories on the shorter hand guard.

I have to post this as I have always been a glock hate boy. In reality they are a very reliable gun but there is nothing "special" about them to me. Never owned one or cared to. I picked up this Shadow systems XR920 Elite yesterday. This is pretty much a glorified Glock on Steroids. It just felt so good in my hands. This is pretty much the G17 grip/frame with a G19 slide. It does not have the Glock cant. (Which I am not a fan of anyway.) Went and shot it today and could not be happier or more surprised. I think it is now in my top 2 favorite guns that I own. It was a tack driver and I am very amazed at how low recoil the gun had for being such a light gun. It even shot my "watered" down reloads. This is very surprising with stock springs on a new gun.
