That is a good video, nice shotgun. That said, I bought the Mossberg instead for much less.

Well after much research I've decided on the Mossberg 940 tactical. Now I just need to find one and hopefully at or under a grand.

Smoky Mountain Guns and Ammo. I paid $855.

On Edit: I originally found SMGA on Gun Deals. Click on the link and scroll down to see a number of vendors and their pricing as you may want to be on more than one notification list.

Out of stock...of course. But I'll be notified when back in stock. Thanks!

Mounted a Holosun red dot direct, no adapter. Really sweet setup. Hopefully the aftermarket jumps on the bandwagon in time for Christmas too.

Yeah that is one of the aspects I love about it. Also lighter than the Benelli M4, half the cost and I love where the safety is. Plus it's the best semi-auto American made on the market from the reviews.

Fairly light too, especially compared to the 870.

I wanted an M4, then a 1301...got tired of waiting and the prices were a bit high. Both great persuaders. The Mossberg is minimalist and pretty darn sleek and I really like that the company listened directly to feedback and input on what people wanted.

I agree. I don't show it in those shots but in addition to the Magpul handguard and SGA stock I added their front sling mount and sling. I wrote them asking for them to do an SGA stock for the 940 and they responded that there isn't one currently in the pipeline.

Magpul and Aridus Industries make for a heck of an 870.

Spent a pretty penny on a Remington Police Magnum right about the time Obama was taking office. I sold it because I just can't get around where the safety and forearm release are. FTL

Just following up on your experience with the SA15 mags on the 48s? Still issue free? Gen 1 or 2? Alum or steel mag release?
I have the gen 1 aluminum gen 2 steel(I think). I don’t have a lot of rounds through it but no issues. Several other guys haven’t reported issues either. The 5+ mag extension was a big issue so I ditched it. The follower gets stuck when the spring is compressed and the bullets get loose and it doesn’t feed.

I finally caved and got the SA (gen2) mags, steel mag release… i’ll test out this week.

Also got the TLR7sub since it is the only light I like for the slim line blocks…. But feels a little “congested” around the trigger . Not a bad little light tho…

What holster are you running with that setup?

I have a Tier1 axis elite (none light bearing), minus the mag caddy portion (never really use it).

Will have to order a new light bearing option…
