I turned 70 back in March. My Father used to tell me........"You know you're getting old, when you can count on one hand, the days that nothing hurts". I've had a very good run with nothing major, health wise. My back gives me problems from time to time and my eye sight is not what it used to be. I can still keep the little woman happy and I'm very thankful for that. I've grown less tolerant of liberals and stupid people but other than that, I'm happy to be alive.

45 here.
For the most part, I feel and look good. (I look like I'm in my 30's.) Never wore glasses or contacts ever. Sight is finally starting to be a little bit of an issue. Not bad though.
I still workout 6 days a week and try to go to the gym every weekend for about 3-4 miles between the two days. If I don't go to the gym, that means I'm doing work around the house/yard/whatever, but I never miss a workout. Cardio is what I'm talking about.
There are days here and there where I feel beat up by a Mack truck though. I guess it depends on how much I do during that day or how bad I push it workout.

My heart and mind still haven't caught up with my age. When people stop asking me......When are you going to start acting your age?........then I'll know I'm sliding into geezerville.

You gotta find balance and learn to live with pain. The reaper doesn't necessarily care how clean you lived your life he'll come get you anyway. You play the long run for what? To live to 100? I'm not sure I'd consider spending a few extra years in a nursing home something I'd give up a few beers for. Don't forget to enjoy life while you can, this world may not be worth a **** in 50 years. Do I wish I didn't have to live with pain now? Sure, but I don't know that I'd give the years of sports up to be pain free. Those were some good times. Live it now, it may not be here tomorrow.

We old bastards need for you to keep earning at a high level, I need someone to fund my social security check that I will spend on Viagra, hookers and blow next decade while I complain about the useless people in the generation after mine.

I will also need money for dry cleaners as stripper glitter is a mother ****er to get off of clothes, so chop, chop, get to work.

Wow thank you for describing my next 30 years on this planet...lol. No need for blow though I take enough prescription meds to cover that. But car shows, strippers and hanging by the beach watching bikini's is in my future....lol. I am 60 now and building a home near the beach next year. My father is going to be 92 soon and mom 91 so I have plenty of living years to go. Just got checked up from the mouth to the ass....lol.....and no cancer or any serious issues.....But I do need another GT500 and soon.

My family has young genes. My parents are 63 and 61 but my mom is often mistaken for my now 40 year old sister's sister. My dad still has mostly black hair with some grey on just the sides. So I inherited all of that as I'm almost 32 but I look maybe 25. But what did I do? I ****ed it all up by joining the infantry. Now my neck, back, and knees ache, I have ringing in my ears, I still have a full head of hair but there is already grey coming through. What the hell?

And what's with the swamp ass and more than usual diarrhea once you hit 30 too? Your stomach becomes sensitive all the sudden. And I know it isn't jist me as I have joked about it with friends the same age.

I used to be a beast, running 17min 3 miles but I would be lucky to be able to run a quarter mile at a light jog I feel. I keep telling myself I can get back to that but I now I dont know.

43 here. No major complaints other than I can't run more than about 20 yards without getting winded, and I weigh more than I'd like. So, I just bought a road bike; gonna try to fix that stuff.

Of course, I get more sore than I used to, and it takes longer to recover from physical activity. But anytime I'm about to complain about that stuff, I remind myself, A) my dad is 76 and still cycles 100 miles a week, and B) at least I'm not pushing up daisies.

Happy Birthday Brad! Yes, I'm older than dirt and you. I turned 61 this year, survived a lot of health issues, still vertical and sucking in air, so I figure I'm doing okay. I am, though, a grumpy old woman.

As a Grumpy Young Man, I feel slighted by this thread as it excludes us mutually grumpy younger folks.

I am going to gripe about this on the face book. You old whippersnappers.
