Got this from Justin prior to arrival

Started with the fuel rail (since I removed it earlier).

A little oil on the gaskets first

I bolted down (89 inch/lbs) the drivers side rear bolt and left the others very loose so I could slide the gen2 under

Ran into this issue once the gen2 was on but it was easy to move it out of the way

Installed the evap tube per Justin's instructions.

I took the time to seal up the air filter compartment (around the JLT 127 tube) too

From here it's all button up and easy breezy. I have the Ford workshop manual so I was sure to complete each step (as there is much to hook up). Sorry for the lack of pics here.

And the money shot!

I have learned of a new hipo shop near me that has a dyno. I hope to get one soon. List of mods includes:

2010 GT500
• Gen 2 VMP TVS
• 2.8 Upper
• 10% OD Lower
• CJ 65mm TB
• JLT 127mm MAF
• 56lbs (2013/14) injectors
• VMP Duel Pump Voltage Booster
• O/R X pipe
• Nitto NT05 P315/35ZR20 - 726 revs/mile
• Afco Dual Fan HE
• 92 Ethanol free fuel

I took it fairly easy on the virgin run but did a few small pulls (3k - 5K) and saw 17lbs on the interceptor gauge. I plan to do some more comprehensive logging (using the X3) shortly.

Nice man, mine should be shipping soon, humm I have a 10% od with long tubes, guess I'll be above 20 psi, with the 2.4 on 93 with meth kit for safety.

Nice write-up.

DaFreak, did the evap tube come with the gen 2 or did you have to order it seperate? I have a gen 2 coming as well and want to make sure i have everything to install all at once.

Looks great as is. That is one of the best looking strut bars on the market. Plus Ford does not offer those anymore. If you are lucky enough to find one, they cost. Have to say that GEN2 looks good in there

I did a couple more 4th gear pulls today while paying attention to the a/f and boost (via the interceptor gauge) and saw 11.1 and 18lbs consistently. Justin has this thing dialed. The kick of the gen2 reminds me of the "power band" on my old Yamaha cycle :). If your not ready, straight to wheelie!

Did you get a tune update or are you running off your Gen1 tune? I took mine out for a quick spin and felt a little uncomfortable tipping into the throttle on public roads. I opened it up a little in second and I was all over the place, the low end is insane.

You boys be careful now. ;)

Yeah, isn't that torque increase a bear!? You should try it with my 4.10s!

Yes ;) The virgin run was on the gen1 tune. Yesterday's run was with the gen2 tune. The gen2 has a much better a/f wot number.

Man does this thing kick! Thanks for all the support along they way.
