Old, but didn't want to make a new one. Mom (wife) wanted a 3 piling nautical mail box deal. This is what I did. 3 pressure treated dock pilings. Grabbed the 5/8" rope from Amazon. Helps to know people.

Snowplow can't knock that over. Woulda drawn more attention with a lawn jockey instead of a seagull, but whatever.

12" in the ground and concrete. Snowplow? lol. Yes, 25' setback. No issues here with that stuff. The black guy is up by the front door where he belongs.

My mom always had a lawn jockey as I grew up. I remember how crazy I thought it was the first time someone that it was crazy to have one.

I assumed everyone had one, Indiana or otherwise.
